While those of you who are not Hillary fans may have enjoyed my most recent post, it is important not to lose sight of what is going on in plain view.  The President abandoned our ally, the Kurds, and they are being slaughtered.  It is the ultimate betrayal of American values.  When balancing the importance of allowing another genocide against moving the American Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, it is hard to see how those who lay claim to the value of human life can ignore one because of the other.

I really don’t claim to understand those who somehow act as if the Ukraine scandal is no big deal.  After all, if it is ok to trade or tax dollars to foreign governments for help in our elections what is not ok?  What will it take to get some people who got their taxes lowered that the cost was the soul of America?  I guess if you are Lindsey Graham or William Barr you are so eager for something resembling power that you fail to see that it is only a matter of time before you are ignored and shamed.  Even now they can’t recognize it and we all will pay the price.

Sorry for the screed which I normally try to avoid.  People being butchered always does this to me regardless of the party in power and no amount of tax cuts or symbolic hyperbole justifies accepting the actions of those who know better but prefer to remain silent.
