With the pardon of Michael Flynn, we can see the Pardon Parade forming on the right. Every Trump-connected miscreant will be clamoring for a pardon as they and their well-paid procurers will figure out a way to enhance the President and his family’s continuous efforts to monetize his departure.

In the case of Flynn and other notables of high character (think Manafort, Broidy), Trump will continue his shameful parade of the pardoned which began with Joe Arpio and will no doubt be extended to the family just in case the fake news media and deep state unjustly accuse them of crimes. Maybe Giuliani and others will take one just in case they need it. After all, who knows what the Southern District of New York may have on Rudy. Considering the sewers he has been dwelling in during his days as Trump’s lawyer, as well as his film debut in the new Borat movie, Rudy might find it will come in handy in the days ahead.

Finally, will the President pardon himself?  And, as he goes down this road, will the good Senators Cotton, Hawley, and Rubio notice or will they continue to try to trash Biden’s Cabinet picks? After all, none of Biden’s people stood at a convention chanting, “lock him up,” like Flynn, nor have they lied to the FBI or to the Vice President about discussing a sanctions deal with the Russians. Rather, their sin is they know what they are doing which, for some of us, will be a welcome change from four years of incompetent liars and grifters. These new guys won’t make as much money as the ones leaving, but at least they will pay their taxes.
