So if a person made fun of your spouses appearance and claimed your father was involved with assassinating John Kennedy, or if they made fun of your wife’s ethnicity with a racial slur and called you a “broken old crow”, would you publicly endorse them for President? What if you were are the short side and he referred to you as “little Marco” or made fun of the disabilities of others? Is that who you would want as your President? 

Well, Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell, and Marco Rubio must think it is just fine.

When these guys act like it’s okay to have Trump as President again, they become complicit in all of his actions. They have sacrificed their human dignity for political expedience. There was a time when that didn’t happen, but I guess those days are behind us.

What is even sadder is that these three, and many like them, will be abandoned or attacked by Trump without a moment’s concern for their welfare. It brings to mind the old saying, “when you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.”
