Well… well… well… Guilty on all 34 counts. When the trial began, Trump said he would testify. Of course, he didn’t and, as a result, there was only one narrative. He could have offered his own story, but as usual, after a lot of false bravado, he chose to blame others instead of taking the stand.

I understand the Republican fundraising has been energized by the verdict. People should recognize that if one juror had thought the charge and/or the evidence was nonsense there would have been no conviction.

So, blame everyone except Trump for what happened. That is what he wants, and many Republican office holders will gladly sacrifice our institutions to give it to him. How sad is that?
