Of all the ridiculous rhetoric that has been used, I think the attack on Justice Alito for the flags flown at his homes is the worst.

I disagree with most of the Justice’s decisions. And, I think he has been careless in his associations with individuals who have cases before the court.

However, let’s keep it civil and real. The flags signify nothing relating to his duties as a Supreme Court Justice. The reaction from the left is embarrassing. We really need to settle down and stop reading every event as a reinforcement of our existing beliefs and prejudices. The response to the Trump convictions from the right is another example of how absurd our political dialogue has become.

We really can do better. Let’s all of us try!
