It looks like Putin is at it again. He clearly knows how to manipulate Trump, and the upcoming summit is just the latest example.

What we can expect is Putin telling Trump that, he (Trump) is being manipulated by Zelensky and people like Trump and Putin are the ones who decide things. He will assure Trump that he (Putin) will honor the mineral deal when he dominates Ukraine, a promise that is as reliable as one Trump would make.

No doubt, Putin will flatter Trump as one of the big three world decision makers, along with himself and Xi. Trump will claim he has made a great deal (maybe like buying the Plaza was) and tell the Europeans that if they don’t go along, he will raise their tariffs.

Having sold out the Ukrainians, Trump can then turn his attention to the other leader who regularly rolls him, Bibi.  Looks like he’s on the way to the Nobel Peace Prize to me.
