Today’s news brings us the latest in Trump’s propensity to ignore the Constitution. He is having Nvida give the government 15 % of its revenue from sales to China of a chip that Trump said couldn’t be sold to China because of national security concerns.

Well folks, it can’t be that national security is not a concern as long as the Federal Government gets a cut.  If so, we are seeing the monetizing of our national security concerns. If that doesn’t get the Republican China hawks off their duffs, what will?

Nvidia reasoned, no doubt, that since Trump’s administration accepts planes from Qatar, sells memes to anyone who wants to enrich the President, why not cut them in so they can get export licenses?

The vulgarity of how this is going grows. Give Trump something gold (Apple) and he crows like a peacock. I can only imagine what golden calf Putin can offer for Ukraine.
