I notice that public health officials are “shocked” by the President’s comments on vaccines and Tylenol. Why??  This is the same guy who promoted treatments for COVID that didn’t work. At one point, he even suggested that injecting bleach into your body might be a cure worth examining.

He appointed a reckless conspiracy theorist as head of HHS who, in turn, removed most of the top medical scientists under the agency.

No one should be surprised by Trump’s dalliance with quackery. It is consistent with his personality and his enablers in the Congress should be ashamed of what they are allowing to happen to public health in this country.

It is true that some of the ideas embraced during COVID proved to be wrong. Only a fool would think that this is justification to destroy our public health system. Unfortunately, that is what we currently have in the White House.
