So now we are almost there. It appears that Donald Trump will lose this election by a wide margin. We also have the cynical recordings of Jared Kushner which show the callous disregard of this princeling for the people in America who were not born to privilege as he was.
His primary accomplishment as a government employee was to refinance his disastrous decision to but the building at 666 5th Avenue in New York City. He truly could have been a blood relation to Donald Trump who did the same with the Plaza Hotel.
Sadly, this chapter of misfeasance and malfeasance by Trump, his family, and assembled grifters, incompetents, and ideological kooks, has cost all of us a great deal. We have a pandemic out of control, a federal deficit before Covid beyond anything we have ever seen, a widening economic disparity and a racial crisis that has been exacerbated by this group.
They are fundamentally indecent, and I say that with a great amount of sadness. He is the President, but he acts as if the government of this Republic is one of his failed casinos. He talks as if he owns it all and is not a holder of a sacred trust.
This is not about party. This is about looking at this group of people and their performance. The wreckage that have made is appalling.
It is true that some decisions were good and some of the people appointed are good. I know some of them. But that is not enough.
When they declare Joe Biden the winner sometime Tuesday night, and when the Senate turns Democratic and the House becomes more Democratic, let’s stand up and applaud the American people who looked up, were horrified and rectified their mistake.
I pray every night for an honest, decent President and that would mean Biden as President. Thank you for your in-put. I appreciate it.
