Ok, Democratic electeds, it is your turn.
Remember how we heard during Trump’s Presidency that Republicans in private thought Trump was terrible but wouldn’t go public because of the political fallout? As a result, we endured him once and now he is the Freddy Kruger of American politics. He just won’t go away.
It is time for elected Democrats to publicly speak out calling for Biden to not run. Actually, it is well past time, but we are where we are. His continued candidacy almost guarantees a return of Trump and Republican control of Congress. This time, the filibuster will disappear, and they will do anything he wants them to do.
The stakes could not be higher. This is a moment that many will look back on to see who had the courage to step forward and, just as importantly, who did not.

President Biden, who I have liked and supported, has appeared to have dug his heels in and is refusing to step down for the next election. I have seen where several Democrats have spoken that he should withdraw. Almost like a rebellious teenager, he seems to become more adamant about not backing out with each public comment saying he should. We are all in a very scary situation and I know I feel pretty helpless right now.
